With Zencha, Sebastian Herkner - inspired by traditional Japanese rituals and craftsmanship - has created a well-thought-out bathroom series that combines unusual above-counter basins with purist furniture.

The most striking design feature of the basin and bathtub is the rounded shape, which ends in a graceful, softly curved outward edge.

Herkner has also designed a separate mirror that replicates the contour of the round basins.

The organic shape is accentuated by an all-around LED strip, while the light can be controlled with a sensor on the bottom of the mirror.

With more than 300 lux, the glare-free light source can also serve as the main lighting in the bathroom.
